CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

PLEASE NOTE ALTERED AWARD STRUCTURE: Replacing Best in Show we now offer three major awards- Best Painting / Best Photograph / Best Sculpture.

  1. All exhibits must be the original un-copied work of the exhibitor, and not previously entered at the Kilmore Art Expo.
  2. The Kilmore Art Expo committee reserves the right to decline to hang or display any work.
  3. Entries close 18th March 2022. Late entries will not be accepted. 3D/Sculpture entries are to include photographs with entry form. ARTISTS MUST SUPPLY THEIR OWN PLINTHS ON DELIVERY DAY AND BRING ATTACHED LABELS. TABLES WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. SCULPTURES WITHOUT PLINTHS CANNOT BE ACCEPTED.
  4. Twenty five percent (25%) commission on all sales will be retained by the Kilmore Art Expo.
  5. Net proceeds from sales will be paid directly into the exhibitors bank account, or, if preferred, a cheque can be sent.
  6. The Rotary Club of Southern Mitchell Inc. is a service club and charity fund raiser and does not submit GST returns.
  7. Artwork marked NFS (not for sale) will not be accepted and those listed as ‘As Titled’ may not be accepted.
  8. The organising committee reserves the right to photograph exhibits to promote the Expo.
  9. Exhibiting artists can retain their receipts to allow free entry into the Preview and Award Announcement Night and during the weekend.
  10. Only those exhibits that are a true and accurate representation of the Australian native wildlife will be considered for judging in The Native Wildlife category.
  11. Local Kilmore content; Identifiable location within 25 kilometres of Kilmore Post Office. Name of location to be included on label for painting or photography.
  12. Small Treasures category; any medium allowed but exhibit must not exceed 30cm on any side.
